A man has been arrested in Lalitpur on charge of raping his 10-year-old daughter in yet another incident of rape in the country. DSP at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Satdobato Binod Silwal said a man has been arrested from Bandegaun after receiving a complaint that he raped his daughter. He said preliminary investigation showed that the daughter was staying with him even after his divorce with her mother. The police had received a complaint that he raped his daughter when his second wife had gone to her parental home. DSP Silwal said the girl’s health has been examined and the police are carrying further investigations. ललितपुरको बाँडेगाउँमा आफ्नै छोरीलाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा एक जना पक्राउ परेका छन् । पीडितको परिचय खुल्ने भएकाले प्रहरीले पक्राउ पर्नेको नाम खुलाएको छैन । महानगरीय प्रहरी प्रभाग, बाँडेगाउँले उनलाई मंगलबार पक्राउ गरेको हो । प्रभागका प्रहरी निरीक्षक सञ्जिव खड्काले प्रहरीले ती व्यक्तिलाई पक्राउ गरेको पुष्टि गर्दै अनुसन्धान भइरहेको बताए । प्रहरी परिसर, ललितपुरका एक अधिकारीले पीडित बालिका १० वर्षीया भएको बताउँदै थापाथलीस्थित प्रसुती गृहमा स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण भइरहेको बताए । ‘हामी प्रारम्भिक अनुसन्धानमै छ, स्वास्थ्य परीक्षणपछि थप विषय खुल्नेछ’, ती अधिकारीले भने ।
