Demanding for drinking water, residents of Tribeni-2, Rukum West has padlocked Rural Municipality Office on Wednesday. As the drinking water pipe line they have been using since 1982 got cut off, thus they are on strike.
The office's lock won't be unlocked unless the supply of drinking water is started said Bupendra Bohora, one of the locals. On Tuesday, Rural Municipality Office agreed to supply drinking water however, the water wasn't supplied on Wednesday morning therefore they had to padlocked the office said Bohora.
