The beneficiaries of 14 wards under Chaya Nath Rara Municipality are facing difficulties after the ward office is padlocked stating of not providing allowances and management fund by the ward office. The office is padlocked for indefinite period. The ward chairmen from14 wards have not received the allowances and services such as house rent, electricity utilities, transportation and miscellaneous expenses that they were supposed to receive. This has affected the daily operation of the offices and was padlocked from the last two days. All 14 ward offices are padlocked due to this. The padlocked has severely affected the service takers. The third city council had allocated one million for all 14 ward offices and daily operations of the offices have been affected after the fund is not transferred. Mayor Harijung Shahi of the municipality however claimed that all ward chairmen have been notified that the fund will be transferred as per the billing.
