Medical examination of 12-year-old girl of Janaknandani rural municipality-12, who was raped, has been conducted for the third time.
23-year-old Kiran Khatwe raped the girl on the night of August 24 on her own bed. The girl's first medical examination was conducted on August 25 at Janakpur Zonal Hospital. In the report submitted by the hospital 11 days later, 'No Scratch' was written. However, the girl had visible scratches in her cheeks, eye, lips and neck. In the report prepared by Dr. Rambha Goit and Dr. Bijaya Kumar Singh, it was mentioned that nothing had happened and her vagina and hymen was seen normal.
However, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh of Siraha hospital conducted second medical examination on September 10 and he mentioned that the victim had bite marks on her face, congested vagina and ruptured hymen. The District Government Attorney Office, Dhanusha demanded action against the doctors of Janakpur Zonal Hospital stating that they gave false report and also delayed the report.
Case has been filed against the doctors on September 20 in accusation of tempering with the medical report to save the accused rapist.
