A 17-year-old girl was gang-raped at Gujra Municipality in Rautahat district. The incident happened on Monday morning when the girl was on her way to observe a fair in the municipality. The victim said she was offered lift to home from the fair by her neighbor on a motorcycle who instead took her to a canal where three persons raped her. The boys then put her on a motorcycle and were taking her towards the jungle when the girl bit the rider’s hand and escaped after the bike fell to the ground. A team police immediately reached the site after receiving information about the rape. Police said they were informed about the incident only after nine hours by when the perpetrators had fled. DSP Yubaraj Khadka said they have already identified the accused and are searching for them. The victim was taken to Chandranigahapur Hospital for a test. She is said to be in stable condition. दशैंको अवसरमा मेला हेर्न गएकी एक किशोरीको सामूहिक बलात्कार भएको छ । गुजरा नगरपालिकाको मनर्वा टोलमा मेला हेर्न गएकी १७ वर्षकी किशोरी बलात्कृत भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । पीडित युवतीले सोमबार साँझ इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय चन्द्रनिगाहपुरमा उजुरी दिएकी छन् । आइतबार राति मेला हेर्न जाँदा आफूलाई छिमेकी युवकले मोटरसाइकलमा राखेर घर पुर्‍याइदिने भन्दै नहरको डिलमा पुर्‍याएको र तीन जनाले बलात्कार गरेको उनले प्रहरीसामू बताएकी छन् । त्यही समूहले आफूलाई जंगलतर्फ लग्ने क्रममा भागेको उनले बताइन् । घटनामा संलग्न रहेका तीनै जना फरार छन् । घटनामा संलग्नहरुको खोजी भइरहेको र पीडित किशोरीको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गराइएको प्रहरी नायव उपरीक्षक युवराज खड्काले जानकारी दिए ।
