A person who was on the run after killing his wife Saturday has been arrested by the police. He is Aaitaraj Pariyar of Kankai municipality-1, Jhapa. He has confessed the crime before the police. He allegedly murdered his 40 year-old spouse Maya Pariyar on alcoholic stupor on the following day of the Bijaya Dashami festival. He was arrested Sunday from Danabari of neighboring district Ilam, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Basnet of the District Police Office, Jhapa. He will be tried under a murder case. RSS
