Police have arrested 22 years old Amar Rokaya of Tripura Sundari Municipality-7 on October 27 on charge of attempting to rape 20 years woman. The victim had lodged complaint at Tripurakot Police Office on October 26 against the accused charging him of attempting to rape her on October 25. The absconding accused was arrested by the police on October 28 according to the police. She underwent health checkup at District Hospital on October 26 and the investigation of the case is undergoing according to SI Tek Bahadur Deuba of Tripurakot Police Post.

Amar Bahadur Thapa, 25 of Tripurasundari Municipality-7 was released after settling the case in a political pressure. He was accused of attempting to rape 20 years old woman.
The victim’s party claimed that the accused attempted to rape woman on October 24 and complaint against him was lodged at Police post in Tripurakot on October 26.
The case was internally settled informally in presence of NCP cadre Janak Bahadur Rokaya, Chakka Dharala of judicial committee including many others by compensating victim on November 2.
SI Tek Bahadur Deuba of police post said that the accused was arrested by the police however it was settled in a political pressure within them.
