The victim’s family of Julekha Khatun, 37 of Sabaila Municipality-12 has lodged complaint at District Police Office on November 2 against 40 years old Khaitun Khatun, 25 years old Ajima Khatun and 30 years old Jumrat Rain on charge of beating her in an allegation of being witch.

The victim sustained several bruises over her body and receiving treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.

The victim’s party accused them of beating her few days ago alleging her of being witch.

Police have not arrested the accused yet however the incident is under the investigation according to District Police Office.
