The victim’s party of 45 years old woman have lodged complaint at District Police Office on November 3 against 34 years old Sekh Motibanu of Haripur Municipality-3, 35 years old Gangadhar Shah Teli and one unidentified person on charge of gang rape.

The victim was gang raped by accused on the night of October 25 according to the victim’s party.

The victim complained that she was pressurized to settle the case within the community by ward chair Hajrat Sekh .

Inspector Kundan Dev of DPO said that the case was attempted to settle after the demand of Rs 2,50,000 by the victim however FIR was lodged after the amount was denied. The accused are at large according to police and search is going on.
