Police have arrested 36 years old Arjun KC on charge of beating and throwing 33 years old wife Bhumi BC of Gurbhakot Municipality-6 from the house floor.

The victim’s father Bir Bahadur BC had lodged complaint under attempting to murder against the accused at police and he was arrested based on the complaint lodged.

The victim was beaten and was pushed from the house floor on November 27. She sustained head and eyes injuries and undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College.

In charge Sarbajit Oli of Mehelkuna Police Post said that the was beaten several time by the accused in previous occasions.
