Minor girl found injured in Dhanusha, rape suspected

A 7-year-old minor girl was found injured at a sugarcane field in Dhalkebar of Dhanusha. Police suspect that the minor girl was raped. Police have arrested 25-year-old Roshan Basnet on suspicion of raping the minor girl. Initial police investigation revealed that, Roshan had lured the minor girl to the filed by enticing her with chocolate. He was under the influence of intoxicating material at the time of the incident. Police sent the victim for treatment to BP Koirala Institute of Health Science in Dharan for treatment. Police are further investigating on the incident.
