Nepali Congress organised a rally in Butwal demanding the authorities to designate Butwal as the permanent capital of Province 5. The rally moved around the town and converged into a mass meeting. Addressing the demonstrators, NC leaders demanded that authorities make Butwal the permanent provincial capital.
