Police arrests youth on rape charge

Police on Monday arrested 23-year-old Akalesh Harijan of Ramgram municipality-10 Naudihawa on the charge of attempting to rape a 22-year-old woman.
Sub-inspector Madhav Prashad Bhandari of District Police Office said that police arrested Harijan on the basis of a complaint lodged against him at District Police Office on Sunday, January 27. In the complaint the victim's party accused Harijan of attempting to rape the woman on Friday, January 25.
The victim underwent medical examination at Prithvichandra District hospital on Saturday.
