30-year-old Sagar Subedi from Sandak rural municipality has assaulted his girlfriend Sarita Regmi,27 for denying to drink poison on Wednesday. According to the police, Sagar marriage has been fixed to another girl from Morang because of which he asked Sarita to drink poison together. Later when she refused to take it she was beaten. Sarita who managed to escape from the attack is being treated at the Morang hospital.
