Students have protested against the government in Chainpur, the headquarters of Bajhang, demanding the arrest of the murderer of Nirmala Pant. 

NSU (Nepal Student Union) affiliated to the Nepali Congress, staged a protest rally on Wednesday evening in Bajhang headquarters, Chainpur. 

They are demanding the immediate arrest of the murderer. They are also demanding the withdrawal of Health Bill which was passed by the parliament.  

According to Dipak Bhandari, President of NSU Bajhang, in the society violent incidents have been increased, corruption is increased, and society is facing a price hike and lack of peace and security.
