Police on Monday held three persons in possession of arms from Mandali Secondary School premises at Gangajamuna Rural Municipality-5 in northern Dhading.

The arrestees are Narayan Thapa Magar, 25, Ashish Thapa Magar, 20, and Bishal Gurung, 23, of Khaniyabas Rural Municipality-5, Satyadevi.

Shyam Mahato, DSP, Dhading District Police Office informed that police recovered a Chinese pistol and seven rounds bullets from the arrestees.

Police arrested them with arms in course of security screening in the school site where the President Running Shield Championship took place.

Police said a case will be filed against the three under the Arms and Ammunition law.
