Police on Monday arrested 21-year-old Anish Limbu of Khumling municipality-9 Hangdewa Taplejung on the charge of raping a 17-year-old working at Siddharthanagar municipality-5 Bhairahawa based Pokhara Guest house.

DSP Kumodh Dhungel of District Police Office informed that, police arrested the accused on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim on Monday. The victim stated in the complaint that, Limbu raped on on the same day by luring her with the prospect of marriage with him. She underwent medical examination at district hospital in Bhairahawa. Police are further investigating on the incident.
