Man held on charge of rape

Complaint of rape was lodged against 34-year-old Lal Bahadur AD of Lamkichuwa municipality-1, Kailali on February 5 at District Police Office, Darchula. Lal Bahadur is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman on February 4, when she was alone at her home. The accused was arrested by the police after the complaint was registered against him.
The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital on February 5, according to Inspector Hikmat Bahadur Bohora.
