Police have arrested 23-year-old Kumar Limbu aka Indra Subba of Mechinagar municipality-5 Nakalbandi in Jhapa on the charge of attempting to rape a 76-year-old elderly woman while he was under influence on February 13. DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha of District Police Office Jhapa stated that police arrested the accused on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim on February 13. The victim underwent medical examination at Mechi Zonal hospital.
