Firing between robbers and police

Police have arrested three robbers in Mahottari. Among the arrestees, two are Indian citizens.

According to Khagendra Khadka, DSP of District Police Office Mahottari, the arrestees are 32-year-old Shakti Kapoor of Sarlahi's Lalbandi Municipality-o2, Punwars tole, 32-year-old Rajkumar Mandal of Bihar Madhubani Maranaiya, India, and 23-year-old Upendra Yadav of Madhubani Thana Ladaniya Tenuwahi-12. 

The robbers were arrested for being involved in the robbery at the godown of Ramsevak Yadav in Bholihi, Manara Municipality-4 on 6th January. The robbers took control of all of Yadav's family and looted them. During the robbery, firing also had happened between the police and the robbers. 

Police have recovered four motorbikes, cash and mobile phones from them. 

Police said that the search for absconded robbers is going on intensively. Police said that the investigation is being done because these robbers might also be involved in the recent robbery incidents happened in Mahottari. The district court has extended the days for an investigation of the arrestees under the case of robbery and organized crime case, police said.
