Police arrested a man accused of raping his eight-year-old daughter in Morang Kathari rural municipality-9. According to the police, the father raped his sleeping daughter on February 22nd while all the family members had gone to a birthday celebration in the neighborhood. 

The entire family had fled to India after the incident surfaced the next day. According to the police, the father was arrested when the family returned after 9 days. 

Investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
