A health worker was arrested by West Nawalparasi District Police on the charge of sexual misconduct.

 Amrish Yadav, a 24-year-old operator of X-ray Pathology Clinic, was arrested on Monday night form Loharauli, Palhinandan. Yadav, who was arrested for sexual misconduct on a 15-year-old girl, is from Ramgram Municipality-9.

Locals have vandalized the clinic and police vehicle. The latter was vandalized following a disagreement on the proceedings to treat the accused. The locals wanted to smear black soot on the accused. Police have arrested two youths in connection with the vandalism.
