A person residing in Siraha, Laxmipur Patari municipality-2 who runs the business of liquor was beaten by rural municipality chairman Ram Ballav Shah when he went to the rural municipality to complain about theft at his shop.
Yadav accuses the rural municipality chairperson of manhandling him and throwing him out of the office. Yadav claims that the office assistant assaulted him. Yadav has injuries on his face and eye.
The theft at the liquor shop happened on Wednesday. It is the 8th incident of theft at the shop.
