26-year-old Arman Damai of Rajpur, Silghadi municipality-4, Dipayal was taken into custody by police on March 17 on charge of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl.

According to the victim's family, the victim was abused by the accused on March 9. However the complaint was lodged only after a week. On the basis of the complaint filed by the victim's family, the accused was arrested, as shared by the Head Constable, Dil Bahadur Khati, of District Police Office.

The victim underwent the health checkup at District Health Office, Doti on March 17.
