Mother arrested for killing infant

A woman was arrested on Friday in accusation of murdering her new born baby. Sabitra Mukhiya Sunuwar was arrested from Illam-3 where she came as a guest on Thursday. She gave birth in a toilet and killed the infant by strangling it and threw it in nearby road. Sunuwar hails from Suryodaya municipality-9 and was visiting a relative in Illam municipality.
Police is conducting further investigation regarding the incident.
