Locals of Bariyarpur ward 4 and 5, Kalaiya blocked the road in front of Gupta Petro Pump for two hours on Thursday demanding management of drainage system.

The locals blocked the road from 12 pm to 2 pm, saying that it has become difficult for them to walk and stay in the house due to the flow of drainage water in the road.

Locals cleared the road when Mayor Rajesh Rai Yadav of Sub-Metropolitan City, Kalaiya assured the protesters that he'd sort out the problem.
