A person has set fire to his own house after beating his sister-in-law in Dhanusha. Bipin Yadav of Laxminiya rural municipality-2 beat his sister-in-law Paramshila Yadav on Sunday for not keeping the main gate of the house open as he had ordered. She did not keep the door open thinking that it was not safe. The victim's husband is in Dubai on foreign employment. Paramshila sustained injury all over her body in the beating while property worth rupees 10 lakhs were damaged after Bipin set fire to the house.
Inspector Arun Kushwaha of Area Police Office Mahendranagar said police have started investigation into the incident by arresting the perpetrator.
