Locals of Beltari are on strike against Kaligandai 'A'. Locals have blocked the way leading to hydropower project from Saturday. People affect by the project are demanding to get electricity facility from the same project's transformer. They are demanding irrigation's pipe line, paved road from Beltari chowk to Irikhola and so on. 

  During the project construction they had to lose their land also after the completion of project even drinking water and road they used use is blocked thus they are on strike said a local name Anish Neupane. Locals have accused that the facilities they were provided by authority has been reduced. 

Project's head Rajesh Pandey said that due to locals' strike way to power house is blocked and they are having difficulty in transportation but till date local's haven't submitted any demand to him officially. In coordination with project's head and locals problem will be solved said Khim Thapa.
