The victim’s party of 36 years old Sunita Yadav of Birgunj Metropolis-11 has lodged complaint against her husband Dr. Sahitananda Yadav, working at Narayani Hospital, on March 25 at police office on charge of severely beating her.
The victim has lost her mental state after she was severely beaten by the accused on March 23 according to the victim’s party.
The victim sustained several bruises over her body. The victim’s party have accused him of attempting to kill her by strangulating.
Based on a complaint, the accused is taken into custody for the investigation according to District Police Office of Parsa.
Dr Surendra Yadav of Gandak Hospital said that the victim is admitted in ICU for treatment.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in a very critical condition according to the doctors involved in her treatment.
The victim was married with Dr Sachitananda 15 years ago with the dowry amount of 2 million.
The accused had married another woman immediately after one year accusing her of not being able to become mother.
She was being mentally and physically tortured by an accused since then. Sunita after some times become a victim of depression and was taking medicine.
