Police have arrested 42 years old Shamser Tamang of Kamal Rural Municipality-2 on charge of raping 20 years old woman.

The victim was raped by an accused on March 26 and complaint against him was lodged at Area Police Office on a same day by the victim’s family according to DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha. The victim underwent health checkup at Mechi Zonal Hospital Bhadrapur on March 27.

Similarly, 65 years old elderly man Rajan Adhikari of Haldibari Rural Municipality-2 was arrested by police on March 26 on charge of sexual abuse on 14 years old girl.

The complaint against the accused was lodged at District Police Office by the victim’s family on March 26 on charge of abuse on March 17. He was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s family according to DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha of DPO.

The victim underwent health check up at Mechi Zonal Hospital of Bhadrapur on March 26.
