Police arrested a 40-year-old man on March 28 on the charge of raping his 35-year-old wife.

DSP Kumodh Dhungel said that the accused raped his wife repeatedly against her will when she was ill.  The case was filed based on the complaint filed by the wife stating that she was rape, the last time, on March 26. According to the police, the victim underwent medical examination at Bhim hospital at Bhairahawa on March 28.
