Residents of Hanumannagar Kankalani municipality-9 of Saptari have staged a road blockade at Bhardaha of the east-west highway on Sunday afternoon from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

The locals blocked the road protesting Harekrishna Rohita's blocking of the path, which had limited the movement of 50 families in the area.  

Bindeshwar Raut, an affected local, said that Rohita had besieged the road in a way that blocked the local's way for more than a year and that he did not respond to the requests of the affected families to open the pathway. The road blockade was lifted after District Police Chief SP Rajendra Bista's assurance that local's path would be opened again.
