Dead body of girl found in Mahottari, police suspect murder following rape

Dead body of a girl believed to be in her twenties was found in a field in Sonama rural municipality-2 Sinhasani of Mahottari on Friday afternoon. Locals suspect that the girl was murdered after rape. Police found marks on the deceased's neck. They also believe that she was murdered around 2 days ago. The identity of the deceased girl has not yet been established. Police are further investigating on the incident.
