A socket bomb was found at Basundhara in the capital on Monday morning, police said.
DSP Hobindra Bogati at Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu told Republica Online that the improvised explosive device was found at a private house at Basundhara and efforts are on to defuse it.
A squad of Nepal Army has been mobilized to dispose the socket bomb, he said. The police have arrested four suspects in this connection.
