Police arrested a person for his alleged involvement in raping a 15-year-old girl from Mandan Deupur Municipality, Kavre yesterday.
The arrested has been identified as Raj Bajgain, 19, of the municipality. Police said Bajgain raped the girl who had come to his house while she was sleeping on April 12.
DSP Dipak Giri of Dhulikhel District Police Office said Bajgain was arrested after the victim’s relatives filed an FIR with the police.
