Lumbini, Nawalparasi West, Ramgram
Entrepreneurs of Parasi, headquarter of West Nawalparasi, have staged a protest against the local government's decision to increase the tax on Wednesday. Weekly-market Entrepreneurs Association protested as the small businessmen were unable to keep up with increased tax.
As per them, the tax has increased by threefold compared to the last year. They say they were compelled to demonstrate in front of the District Administration Office as the municipality was nonchalant to their repeated demands to review the increased taxes.
