A 25-year-old woman was found dead in a suspicious condition at her own room in Kabhrepalanchok on Friday. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Sarita Dahal (Dulal), a resident of Mandandeupur municipality-6. Police have arrested members of her family suspecting foulplay in the death.

According to DSP Deepak Giri of District Police Office, when police reached the site of the incident immediately after being reported about it on Friday afternoon, they found the woman lying dead with rope marks on her neck. Police arrested the victim's husband a marijuana abuser from Mandeupur municiapality-2 Baluwapati on Saturday morning. He had gone on the run following the death of his wife on Friday. Police are further investigating on the incident.
