A 30-year-old man got arrested on Monday on the charge of raping 14-years old teen girl on Sunday. The accused has been identified as Raj Kumar Shah, resident of Mahendranagar.

According to the information given by District Police Office, Mahendranagar, the victim was raped on Sunday when she was alone at her home, however, the complaint was lodged on Monday, one day after the incident. The accused has been kept in custody and is preparing to issue a case of attempt to rape, said Police Inspector Amar Dahal, In-charge of District Police Office.

The victim underwent health treatment at Zonal Hospital, Janakpur.
