A revenue team of Armed Police Force allegedly assaulted two women on Thrusday night accusing them of smuggling. According to the victims, the APF team deployed from Rupandehi 38 Battalion assaulted them while coming towards Parasi from bazar on the Indian side. The victims claim that they had brought clothes and other materials for household purpose.
The victims filed a complaint at District Police Office on Friday. They have blue marks on different parts of the body including legs, hands and back.
35-year-old Basanta Thapa and 45-year-old Durga Pokharel were injured.
