Police arrested a 45-year-old man on May 2 on the charge of raping a 16-year-old teen. The accused has been identified as Manik Raj Rai of Ramdhuni municipality-1. 

The accused was taken into custody on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's side on May 2, according to DSP Gyanendra Phuyal of District Police Office. The victim's relatives stated in the statement, the arrested man raped the teen by seducing her on the accused raped the victim on April 30, after seducing her, he added.

The victim underwent a health examination on May 2 at District Hospital.
