Students torched Campus Chief's chair in Marsyangdi Multiple Campus on May 3. Students have accused 52-year-old Campus Chief Hari Babu Thapa of beating 19-year-old Sanjaya Bhatta of Besishahar municipality-8 during examination.
According to Devendra Gurung, Chairperson of FSU, Bhatta did not do anything wrong but the Campus Chief beat him nevertheless. Gurung adds that this is a case of human rights violation.
The Campus Chief shared that he slapped Bhatta because he was continued to cheat in the exam even when the invigilator warned him not to.
The students have warned of continuing protests until the Campus Chief apologizes publicly.
