58-year-old woman gang raped in Panchthar

A woman has been gang-raped in Panchthar on Friday night.
The victim, a 58-year-old woman from Phidim municipality was raped by 3 persons while she had gone to attend a local wedding. The incident became public after the victim lodged a complaint at police. Police arrested 45-year-old Dhansingh Phago, one of the accused men. Police are meanwhile, looking for the two other who went on the run.
Police are further investigating the incident.
