Police have arrested 41 years old Lekh Nath Sharma of Waling Municipality-8 on May 10 on charge of raping 21 years old woman.

The victim was raped by an accused on May 7 and complaint against him was lodged at Ward police office of Waling by the victim’s family on a same day.

The accused was absconding after the incident however he was arrested on May 10 based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s family according to DSP Nabin Krishna Bhandari.

The victim underwent health checkup at Primary Health Center on May 7.
