Locals attempt to set fire to toll collection booth in Bharatpur

Locals tried to set fire to the toll collection booth kept at the border of ward 9 and 12 of Bharatpur metropolis on May 17. The incident occurred in the East-West highway at 11 am.
The locals tried to torch the booth after the people started to stop the motorcycles and collect money from them also. 40-year-old Kalpana Khadka sustained injuries in the incident. Injured Khadka is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
Police arrested Gokarna Guri, Chairperson of Rewan Sauraha in connection to the incident.
