Ashok Jha, Police Inspector of District Police Office Dhanusha, beat 57-year-old Indal Prasad Yadav, a resident of Mithila Bihari-9 Dhanusha.
Yadav had gone to the District Police Office Dhanusha to meet his nephew 37-year-old Asheshwor Yadav, who was being held by police for 4 days. When Yadav first when to the police office he was told that Asheshwor was not in there and he returned. But he later found that Asheshwor was being held in the police office. He came back and confronted the inquiry desk officer who had lied to him. Inspector Jha, then manhandle Yadav saying he had no right to confront the policemen.
Inspector Jha claimed that he had a minor argument when he informed Yadav that he couldn't meet the prisoner and to meet him he should bring identity card.
