Protesting the public humiliation of Bishnu Ojha, Assistant Dean of Agriculture Department, by smearing black soot on 3rd April, Professor's Association padlocked the University. Due to the padlocking, classes have been disrupted.
According to Manraj Kolakshyapati, Registrar of University, Democratic Professor's Association continued their protest demanding punishment to the students who smeared black soot on the Dean. The professors have padlocked the main office. On the allegation of smearing black soot on Ojha, six students have been suspended for 2 months. Immediately after that decision, ANNFSU padlocked the University which was unlocked after two days.
Protesting that the punishment given was not so strict, the Principal's Association continued their protest. Negotiation between political party and the association is ongoing but conclusion is not made yet.
