Students clashed with police during a demonstration in Janakpurdham on Tuesday. The clash occurred while the students were trying to burn effigies of General Administration Minister Lalbabu Pandit and the Chairperson of Public Service Commission Umesh Prasad Mainali protesting the publishing of advertisement of vacancy announcements in public offices by significantly reducing the numbers of reservation quota.
The students blocked the road in Bhanu Chowk after Police stopped them from burning the effigies.
