A 9th grader was abducted by a group of 3 men on a motorcycle in the evening of February 23 while she was returning home from the field with her younger sister. The girl is from a Dalit community and resides in Bateshwor, Dhanusa.
The younger sister was able to escape. However, the older sibling was made unconscious using an anesthetic. According to the victim, she was blindfolded and her hands and feet were tied with a rope.
She was taken to Majhaparpur in Indian where she was held captive for 3 months and was gang-raped multiple times.
