Teen arrested on charge of rape

Police arrested 18-year-old Amit Kumal, a resident of Birendranagar-2, on Tuesday afternoon in accusation of raping 9-year-old girl with speech impairment. A team of police officers deployed from Bangesimal Police Station and District Police Office arrested Kumal on receiving information that he raped the girl in a community forest in Birendranagar.
