Candle march organized protesting Guthi Bill

Protesters took out a candle march in Basantapur area on June 12 in protest of the proposed Guthi Bill. The participants in the march carried candle in one hand and placards in the other with different slogans written.
The protesters have demanded withdrawal of the bill. The Ministry of Land Management on Wednesday released a statement acknowledging the concern about the bill from relevant stakeholders.
